We’re excited to share that ACS Victoria Professional Partner, Box Hill Institute has secured a limited number of Commonwealth Supported places for the cyber security and networking higher education online courses. Box Hill Institute will also cover the $2500 student contribution, enabling more professionals to upskill and re-skill in in-demand cyber security and networking industries for free!

The Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security and the Undergraduate Certificate in Networking and Cyber Security have provided a pathway to address the nationwide Cyber Security skills shortage. This helps students to transition to a new and exciting career in Cyber Security and IT, which is currently in high demand.

The Commonwealth funding has enabled students, for whom study is unaffordable, a pathway to upskill or retrain in a growth industry and increase their ability to secure employment.

Box Hill Institute has provided these students with excellent support with these online courses and the ability to gain valuable industry knowledge from guest lectures and through industry experts.

The Undergraduate Certificate in Networking and Cyber Security has provided the students a pathway into the Bachelor of Computer Systems (Cyber), with many students having already expressed interest in continuing their studies.

The success of the programs can be seen in the student engagement and the diversity drive, in an otherwise male dominated industry, with females only accounting for 35% of the students in the Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security and 44% of the students in the Undergraduate Certificate in Networking and Cyber Security.

With courses starting 2 November, let your team or colleagues know about this great opportunity to study these free higher education courses anywhere in Australia. Note, they must be an Australian Citizen or hold a permanent residency.  These are programmed to be completed by 28 February 2021.
