Highlights

  • Kicking off with our monthly Branch event featuring May Lam, CIO, Australian Payments Plus. We explored how a trusted, resilient payments ecosystem depends not just on technology, but on leaders who use it to strengthen the business. It was a powerful reflection to see the inclusive, forward-thinking tech workforce driving Australia’s digital future.
  • Our NSW EPC brought together students and early career professionals at their final event of the year, 'Your Career Brand: Learn, Network & Grow in Tech'.
  • The spotlight was on our NSW members, Grant Engelbrecht and Jonathan Englert, to share their career journeys and insights about skills of the future.
  • National AI Week was jam-packed with multiple events at ACS NSW, featuring leading industry speakers and a program designed to help Australian businesses take their next step with AI.
  • ACS has formed a consortium partnership to deliver CyberPath: Paving the Way Forward for Cyber Professionals pilot, part of the Growing and Professionalising Cyber Security Industry Program, co-funded by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Learn more.

National AI Week

Through partnerships with National AI Centre, Tech Policy Design Institute (TPDi), and Women in AI, we dug into practical AI use cases - where automation is lifting efficiency, where AI is augmenting human decision-making, and what it really takes to turn technical capability into organisational impact. Conversations left us thinking - as AI scales, what decisions will you make today that ensure Australia builds a future that’s both innovative and human-centred? Read more on ACS NSW LinkedIn.
