Certificate IV in Cyber Security as a traineeship in Queensland announced

Highlights

  • With a significant shortfall in skilled cyber professionals, the announcement of the Certificate IV in Cybersecurity traineeship is excellent news for Queensland. Find out more about the role ACS played in securing this, and how you can access $9,000 worth of funding per trainee.

ACS Queensland is leading the way by successfully declaring the 22334VIC Certificate IV in Cyber Security as a traineeship within Queensland.

Luisa Grant, the Industry Skills Advisor Project Manager (ISA) for ACS funded by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT), successfully declared the 22334VIC - Certificate IV in Cyber Security as a priority one traineeship within Queensland, securing over $9,000.00 worth of funding per participant.

With the Olympic Games to commence in 2032, Cyber Security workers will be in high demand to defend crucial Queensland assets adequately. Therefore, this is excellent news for the Queensland Tech sector, allowing organisations to employ new workers and provide on-the-job training whilst undertaking the funded qualification.

Luisa will work with DESBT, TAFE Queensland, and the sector to further promote and support the program.
