Helping first nations children in Queensland to See IT Be IT

The ACS Queensland Branch, the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation (QATSIF), Substation33, P&C Queensland and Litehaus International are collaborating on the “See IT Be IT” campaign providing quality second-hand laptop devices to first nations children around the State. Padua College, Queensland Computers, Groundprobe, Datacom and Protech are ACS members who have made substantial donations.

In just over a year, 984 donations and devices have been distributed to children and families in need throughout Queensland.

Mat Eames, CIO Protech and Beau Tydd, ACS Chair recently visited Keebra Park State Highschool to make a donation of 39 devices, which were welcomed by students including Jounty Fouche, pictured receiving her laptop.
