Earlier this month, ACS and ACS Preferred Recruitment Partner, Nicola Steel from JJP Talent Solutions, hosted an International Women's Day event about "How to Embrace Equity, Diversity and Inclusion to Power Your Tech Organisation."

Claudia is a 2nd year student at UQ, and she spoke about her own personal experience at school and university together with her advice for parents and educators. As a woman of colour, Damana explained how she has overcome the challenges of working in a male dominated industry as well as how she has built happy workplaces.
Dinesh brought a male perspective to the panel and provided his thoughts on how to improve equity, diversity and inclusion. April talked about the importance of authentic leadership to attract diverse talent and set up people for success. Mary talked about her experience and her thoughts on the impact of emerging technology on equity and leadership.
