Important Update: Relocation of ACS Queensland and River City Labs innovation hub and office space

• The ACS and River City Labs would like to update you on changes regarding the location of our innovation hub and offices. We will be relocating on 24 January to Anzac Square in the Brisbane CBD to a new coworking location and partnership with Hub Australia.

The ACS and River City Labs would like to update you on changes regarding the location of our innovation hub and offices. We will be relocating in mid-January to Anzac Square in the Brisbane CBD to a new coworking location and partnership with Hub Australia.

This move will include River City Labs members that are co-located with River City Labs currently, ACS Queensland staff and ACS Staff who visit, ACS members and partners and guests who use our current facilities, located in the Fortitude Valley.

Why are we moving?

After 11 years of success in the innovation ecosystem, and a review of current and developing market needs, River City Labs have decided to increase its focus on the programs and resources it provides its members. With this, River City Labs will no longer be offering coworking as part of its membership fees, but instead partner with Hub Australia to support its members’ coworking needs. River City Labs members will be able to access all of its current and growing programs and services via a digital platform and continue to be the landing pad for technology entrepreneurs and the communities that enable them.

Details of the move

ACS and River City Labs team will be located at The Hub Anzac Square (200 Adelaide St, Brisbane) on 24 January 2024. River City Labs members who also have tenancy at the TC Beirne Building will be offered exclusively discounted rates with Hub Australia and invited to co-locate with the River City Labs and ACS.

Your access to The Hub

ACS members will have access to casual use (once per month) of the new Hub Space, on a first-in, best dressed basis. To arrange casual use, please contact the Branch team at acs.qld@acs.org.au. Casual use for ACS Members will be available from Monday 5 February 2024.

What are the advantages of the new location?

A strategic partnership with Hub Australia gives us the opportunity to increase value to our members, with access to increased locations and a discounted offering exclusive to ACS Labs members located in Brisbane initially, with plans to expand into other locations in the new year to support all ACS members. The Hub Anzac Square is right in the heart of the CBD and close to transport, retail, and the corporate sector but still close enough to get to the Fortitude Valley Innovation scene. The Hub Anzac Square also offers facilities such as a business lounge and café, parents’ space, end-of-trip facilities and shower, member kitchen, fitness studio, podcast and media studio, meeting and workshop spaces and more.
