ACS has a new program supported by the Queensland Government. Undergrads (with tech workplace experience), grads and young career professionals are invited to nominate for the ACS Young Tech Ambassador school awareness program.

The premise is simple – schools request a young tech worker to visit and share their career pathway, and YTAs volunteer to present subject to availability. There will be compensation for time and travel. Of course, your employer will need to be part of the nomination process and provide leave. This will be an excellent addition to your CV, and provide you and your employer with great community outreach content. By sharing your story with students, you will also develop your public speaking and presentation skills.

To lodge a no-obligation EOI and be contacted in early 2024, please go to https://forms.office.com/r/0jgNmNeDQ3.

If you would prefer to contact the Project Manager for more information, please email Matthew Jorgensen (matthew.jorgensen@acs.org.au).
