Greater representation is critical to the future of Australia’s tech sector, boosting both the tech talent pipeline and creativity and innovation. Moreover, at ACS, we are working to improve female representation in tech, which currently stands at 29%.

So, we were delighted to attend the 2024 TechDiversity Awards as Silver Sponsors, an event we have been proud to support since its inception.

Melanie Long, ACS Social Impact Partnerships Manager, was a guest at the awards. “One of the many highlights was Miranda Ratajski, CIO of Westpac, who shared that women represent 50% of her leadership team. That is the benchmark for all businesses.”

TalkiPlay was the winner of the Tech for Good award. TalkiPlay is an autism learning tool that can help children build their language skills and confidence.

ACS is excited to announce a new ACS member benefit with TechDiversity that will enable ACS members to study tools and techniques of diversity, equity and inclusion.
