Are you passionate about an IT or tech topic you want to share with your community? Lead a Special Interest Groups
Highlights
- We strive to offer opportunities and programs that will resonate with your aspirations and goals and support you in your ICT journey.
- The NSW Branch hopes to offer Special Interest Groups and member-led initiatives for members to meet around a common interest.
ACS brings together diverse communities with shared interests to network and nurture a thriving tech community to achieve impact. We aim to provide forums for discussing topics relevant to the Australian ICT industry.
The NSW Branch will be hosting Special Interest Groups, a member-led initiative centred around a common interest. The purpose is to gather members with a common interest to advance a specific cause and share knowledge, learning and upskilling.
The activities of the Special Interest Groups could include, but are not limited to:
- Hosting group meetings
- Sourcing speakers and subject matter experts
- Working up relevant events such as workshops or forums
- Publish articles and other relevant content.
About you:
- You have a passion for a specific area of interest, and you'd like to share it
- You want to be more involved in your community and network
- You have enthusiasm and dedication to drive the activity of the group
The NSW Branch staff will provide administrative support for the set up of online platforms and the ACS Sydney Innovation Hub can be made available for meetings and events.
