Mindroom Innovation, Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast QLD  - Part time Teaching - Vocational (Education & Training)

We are a small team looking for someone with a passion for teaching and personal development. This is a perfect job for someone looking for workplace flexibility.  To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to effectively communicate and teach adult learners. Work in one of the most beautiful cities on the Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads.

Mindroom Innovation is a vocational education provider based on the Gold Coast, committed to providing students with the best possible educational opportunities and outcomes related to technological innovation, development, project management and graphic design.

Contract role, ideal for someone looking for a part-time position. The teaching takes place from 5.00pm -9.00 pm in the evening and could be suitable for someone looking to explore their teaching passion, or someone who would like more daytime flexibility.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Deliver training to both group and individuals
• Leading workshops
• Supporting students with their assessments

Qualification and Industry Requirements:

• A qualification in the field of IT (Diploma of IT or higher)
• Experience in IT - Business Analysis essential and Website Development (advantageous)
• Relevant experience within Business Analysis field
• Current Trainer/Assessor qualification (TAE40122) 
• Some training experience (VET sector experience highly desirable but not essential)
• Must be willing to commit to continuous Professional Development in the areas of:

      - Vocational qualification

      - Training & Assessment

      - Compliance with regulatory bodies

Desirable Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethic and organisation skills
• A proactive attitude
