It was a privilege to host a Tech Leader’s roundtable in Toowoomba in conjunction with the ACS (Australian Computer Society) Qld Downs and South-West Chapter on Friday, generously supported by Pulse Data Centre.

Together with ACS CEO Josh Griggs and Chapter Co-Chairs Michele Berkhout and Rajib Rana, we discussed Toowoomba tech workforce development challenges (across agriculture, manufacturing, education and transport) and how ACS can support the region to attract, skill/reskill and retain an amazing local IT workforce.

We also toured the Pulse Data Centre facilities and extend a sincere thanks to John Henderson and the Pulse Data Centre team for their hospitality, along with team ACS Qld Peter Yeates of our BEC, together with Sharyn Mick, Caitlin Hultgren and Angela Chen.
