• Tech employers in the Gold Coast region are invited to participate in a new Trade and Investment Queensland and Study Queensland initiative which will be held on the Gold Coast on November 14.

Employers in the Gold Coast region are invited to participate in a new Trade and Investment Queensland and Study Queensland initiative.

The experiential part of Study Queensland’s employability program for international students and Queensland businesses includes Innovation Challenges, the first of which will be held on the Gold Coast on November 14.

The Innovation Challenge will connect an ecosystem of industry partners with interdisciplinary teams of international students and graduates to work on a shared industry problem.  This first challenge will focus on one of the top 10 common challenges for industry this year – attracting and retaining talent – and businesses who participate will have access to:

• Emerging talent – over 100 students are expected to participate in the event
  

• Fresh perspectives and free problem solving on a relevant industry challenge

• Increased marketing opportunity as Study Queensland and TIQ will be promoting the innovation challenge on social media and LinkedIn

• Opportunity for a consultation with TIQ if a business is looking to export their products/services overseas
