Celebrating tech community and leadership in Tasmania
Our End of Year Celebration honoured the vibrant Tasmanian tech community and outgoing Chair Louise Mills. With graduates, educators, and industry leaders in attendance, the event showcased the strong connections that drive innovation. Thanks to Intuit Technologies and Hon. Madeleine Ogilvie MP!
Wednesday night was another milestone for the ACS (Australian Computer Society) Tasmania branch as we held our Annual End of Year Celebration with our wonderful event partner, Intuit Technologies.
The evening once again showcases the strong sense of community the Tech sector has here in Tasmania. It was good to see familiar faces along with many new ones including our graduates and educators. Once again the evening demonstrated the vibrant spirit that makes Tasmania's tech sector so special.
We celebrated:
* The incredible achievements of our tech community
* Bidding farewell to our outgoing Chair, Louise Mills, who has been instrumental in transforming ACS Tasmania
* Strengthening connections across government, industry, and education
* Welcoming the next generation of tech professionals
Once again we would like to thank Hon Madeleine Ogilvie MP Ogilvie for attending our event, and the commitment and passion she has for the Tasmanian Technology sector.
A huge thank you to Intuit Technologies and Alex Ladaniwskyj for your continued support.
We would like to also thank the various associations that enjoyed the evening with us including TasICT, AWSN - Australian Women in Security Network, and TASITE.
And than kyou to ACS (Australian Computer Society) staff Oliver Stenmark and Marc Portlock, but most importantly Caitlin Hultgren for her organisational and event management skills.
Louise's leadership has set a remarkable path for our branch, strengthening connections and driving innovation. Her legacy will continue to inspire us as we continue to forge ahead in Tasmania.
