Help Start a New Life with Your Old Phone

What if you could reduce e-waste, give your old phone a new purpose, and support people in your community, all at once? Thanks to a new partnership between ACS Victoria and DSV Phones, now you can.

An often-overlooked consequence of rapid technological innovation is the mounting pile of outdated devices, incompatible components, and out-of-style models that end up in local landfill. Not only does this harm the environment, contributing to overflowing landfill and complicating e-recycling efforts, but many of these phones are still perfectly functional.

“For domestic violence (DV) victims, access to a safe phone can mean the difference between life and death. Perpetrators often use phones to control and monitor their victims, leaving them isolated and without a secure way to keep in contact with friends and family or seek help.” – DV Safe Phones

ACS Victoria has partnered with DV Safe Phones to offer a more meaningful way to recycle your still-functional phone, by passing it on to someone who truly needs it.
