About the ACS President’s Award
Awarded quarterly, the ACS President’s Award honours members who have gone above and beyond in their service to the ICT profession and the ACS community. Each recipient exemplifies the ACS Values - Aim High, Collaborate, Be Creative, and Do the Right Thing - through their volunteer leadership and impact across industry, education, and community initiatives.
To be eligible, a volunteer must:
Be a current ACS member,
Have volunteered in an ACS role for at least one year,
Have held one of the following roles:
Elected member or office bearer,
Chair or office bearer of a committee, chapter, or Special Interest Group (SIG),
Appointed volunteer by an ACS body to lead a project or specific activity.
Award recipients may not be re-nominated for a period of two years after receiving the award.
If you know an ACS member who consistently goes the extra mile, volunteers their time, supports their branch, mentors others, strengthens our initiatives, or contributes meaningfully to the ICT community, the next quarter nomination period is now open to be recognised through acsrecognition@acs.org.au.
