On Thursday, 27 March, SEQ members gathered for the Autumn Networking Mixer, an evening dedicated to fostering connections and celebrating achievements within our community.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity for members to engage directly with ACS President Helen McHugh, Branch Executive Committee (BEC) representatives, and the Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC). The engaging format encouraged lively discussions, meaningful networking, and recognition of our newest Certified Professionals (CPs).
Helen McHugh, along with Mat Eames (QLD Branch Chair and the night's emcee) and Jonathan Nelson (QLD EPC Chair), delivered insightful presentations, setting the stage for an evening of collaboration and inspiration. A special highlight was the continued support from our valued sponsors, Pack of 7 Australia, who have played a pivotal role in branch event sponsorship and are a delightful presence at ACS events.
Adding to the excitement of the night, we were thrilled to give away a pass to the upcoming ACS QLD Tech Summit on Friday 30 May in Brisbane, offering one lucky attendee a complimentary pass to this major industry event, valued at $495. (Tickets still available - ACS Member discounts start at 55% off the full conference fee of $495!)
The success of the evening was made possible by the dedicated ACS QLD team, and with strong representation from both the BEC and EPC, the event underscored the strength of our community and the value of coming together. Thank you to all who attended and contributed to making the night a success!
