Now’s your chance to become a leader in cybersecurity with academic scholarships now available for new postgraduate-level cybersecurity courses.
TAFE Queensland’s new Post Graduate Cyber Security program is designed to prepare students with the comprehensive knowledge, skills and ethical understanding required to actively engage in the fast-evolving challenges of the digital landscape. Students are encouraged to explore emerging technologies, anticipate future threats, and develop creative solutions that stay ahead of cyber adversaries.
Additionally, industry partnerships, guest speakers from industry and industry-based projects will enable exposure to the latest trends and practical insights from the field.
Interested in GRC?
Are you interested in honing your skills in GRC? Our CYB805 unit examines cybersecurity governance and public policy. Students will explore cybersecurity jurisdiction, cybercrime, cyberterrorism, the invasion of privacy, law enforcement and legal breaches. An important aspect of the unit is the development of communication skills essential for good cybersecurity governance in contemporary organisations.
Interested in the Technical aspect?
TAFE Queensland have a variety of units that will help you skill up in penetration testing and network security. They also cover areas such as forensics and the psychology of criminals exploring legal aspects of cyber and helping you understand the wide range of fields available in cyber.
TAFE Queensland offer work-integrated project opportunities alongside simulated work experience, giving you access to real-world projects to prepare you for a career in cyber.

With a TAFE Queensland Academic Scholarship, you could save up to $750 per unit in your first semester. That's an extra $3,000 to help support your study journey (T&Cs apply).
Scholarships are only available to students commencing study in Semester 2, 2025.
