Recapping success: Closing FY25, launching FY26
What a ride FY25 has been. Since taking the baton from Dr Rod Dilnutt FACS CP and stepping into the role of Chair in January 2025, it’s been full steam ahead as we shift gears at ACS Victoria to execute the future into a bold new chapter.

In February, we hit the ground running with our Branch Executive Committee and welcomed our new Victoria Branch Manager, Kelsey Capaldo. We launched the ACS Migrant Spouse Program for skilled ICT partners seeking to break into the Australian workforce and rolled out a high-impact Diversity in ICT event series in collaboration with the State Government of Victoria. Our Branch Forums sparked real conversations around Cyber, Blockchain, and AI, and our Emerging Professionals, led by Nayan M Jain (Chair) and Akansha Pandey (Vice Chair), brought over 100 next-gen tech future-leaders together for their first ‘Bytes and Banter’ networking event.
And that was just the beginning.
As FY26 kicks off, we’re gearing up for a flagship event that’s bold, innovative, and unapologetically Victorian to put us front and centre in shaping the future of tech in Australia. I couldn’t be more energised to move the needle forward and to showcase what’s next for our ACS Victoria Members. Thank you to the Victorian Branch Executive Committee for their ongoing support in shaping today’s landscape, alongside the Branch Staff and Special Interest Groups. We look forward to continuing to support our members and the broader ACS community.
