The representatives from the Queensland Branch Executive Committee and the Emerging Professionals Committee along with Ken Gideon - Queensland Branch Manager (Acting) and industry leaders attended the CICTA Industry Breakfast 2025 at Brisbane City Hall on 20 August 2025.

The Hon. Steve Minnikin MP, Minister for Customer Service and Open Data, Minister for small and family businesses explored how Queensland’s ICT industry can help shape the state’s future in light of recently announced government policies on digital transformation, small and family business enablement, and enhancing customer services, including the $1 billion Digital Fund, and its relevance to the ICT sector’s evolving role in Queensland.
