NSW MENTORING PROGRAM 2025

Applications for the ACS NSW 2025 Mentoring Program are now open. Join as a mentee, mentor, or volunteer and gain valuable career insights, networking opportunities, and professional support. 

 

We are looking for Mentees and Mentors as well as volunteers to support the delivery of the program which is specifically designed to provide our members with opportunities to connect, network and support each other with career advice and guidance for advancement and development.

Based on feedback from previous participants, we are extending the length of the program to ensure time for networking and sharing of experiences. For this reason, there will only be one intake for the program which will run from March to September 2025.

 

The program provides:

  • Individual matching of mentors and mentees based on career goals
  • Three face-to-face sessions for mentoring pairs to meet, share experiences and network with others
  • Coaching and support for mentors, particularly those new to our program
  • Personality profiling to enhance self-awareness and working with others
  • CPD Hours for participating in the program

 

To participate:

  • You must be an active financial member of ACS.
    For this program, students and graduate members are not eligible
  • Be willing to provide at least 2-4 hours month for the duration of the program
  • Complete the application form by COB 14 February 2025

Please note that mentees are required to provide a program fee of $50 up acceptance into the program. This fee to cover the costs of program resources and delivery.

Key dates:

  • Applications close: 14 February
  • Notification of mentoring pairs: 11 March
  • Initial briefing (face-to-face): 18 March
  • Health check survey: 20 June
  • Mid-session huddle (hybrid): 8 July
  • Health check survey: 10 August
  • Close out session (face-to-face): 16 September
