Are you a student with a passion for technology, innovation and making a real impact? The ACS WA Branch is inviting applications for the prestigious 1962 Awards and the inaugural Tony Watson Early Achiever Award, with winners to be recognised at the annual Dennis Moore Oration and 1962 Awards.
Celebrating Excellence in ICT
The 1962 Awards honour the next generation of ICT leaders in Western Australia. These highly regarded awards recognise:
1962 Prize – awarded to the best performing undergraduate or honours student in Information Technology and Computer Science - $1000 prize
1962 Medal – recognising the most outstanding doctoral research (PhD) in ICT completed in Western Australia.
Introducing the Tony Watson Early Achiever Award
This year also marks the introduction of the Tony Watson Eary Achiever Award. This prize recognises the most deserving first-year IT student in a WA university or final-year student in the WA VET sector - $1000 prize
