ACS backs Sustainability Committee member’s agentic AI talk at ASSC 2026

ACS is pleased to support Sustainability Committee member Payal Tiwari AACS to present at the  2026 Australian System Safety Conference (ASSC),) in Adelaide on 28–29 October.

The conference is organised by the Australian Safety Critical Systems Association (aSCSa), a long-standing ACS National Special Interest Group with roots dating back to 1992, the conference brings together research and practical industry experience across system safety, cybersecurity, AI, assurance and other safety-critical fields.

Payal will deliver an industry presentation titled “The Safety Layer Nobody Shipped: Assuring Accountability as Agentic AI Capabilities Evolve.” The presentation will examine agentic AI through the lens of safety, accountability, and human impacts, contributing to broader industry discussion as AI capabilities continue to evolve.

The presentation also aligns with the Sustainability Committee’s focus on responsible innovation and thought leadership across the technology sector. The committee’s work includes responsible data and AI practices and aims to equip ACS members to address emerging technology challenges in practice.
