Last week ACS 60th Anniversary Celebration in Queensland was a truly memorable occasion. ACS president, Beau Tydd, and Interim CEO, Dr Prins Ralston open the ceremony. It brought together members, partners, volunteers, staff, and friends of the organisation to honour six decades of achievement, connection, and impact. (eliminate our)
As we reflected on our journey, we celebrated not only the milestones and accomplishments of the past 60 years, but also the people who have made them possible. From our founding members, and the dedicated volunteers to the leaders, staff, and supporters who continue to shape ACS’s future. This milestone was a tribute to the collective passion, commitment, and generosity that have defined our organisation for generations.
The celebration provided an opportunity to share stories, reconnect with colleagues and friends, and recognise the lasting contributions of those who have helped build and strengthen our community. It was inspiring to reflect on how far we have come and to acknowledge the many individuals whose dedication has left a legacy.
While the afternoon honoured our rich history, it was equally a celebration of the relationships, shared values, and sense of purpose that continue to unite us today. The warmth, enthusiasm, and pride demonstrated throughout the event served as a powerful reminder of the strength of the ACS community and the impact we can achieve together.
As we mark this significant milestone, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of our journey in the past 6 decades. Your support, leadership, and commitment have helped shape our organisation into what it is today, and your continued involvement will guide us into the future.
Celebrating 60 years is a remarkable achievement, but our greatest accomplishment remains the community we have built together! We look forward to continuing this journey, honouring our legacy while embracing new opportunities to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful difference in the years ahead.
