National Consultation Launches as CyberPath Momentum Builds

You're invited to participate in an important national consultation for the Cyberpath: Paving the Way Forward for Cyber Security Professionals program. ACS is working together with AISA (National Consultation Sessions lead), AWSN, and Aus3C to host a series of free sessions across Australia to gather industry feedback on this framework. We're seeking diverse perspectives across all sectors and experience levels, and this is your opportunity to contribute to how cyber professionalisation takes shape in Australia.

  • CyberPath is a pilot program that will inform a national, scalable, durable, and self‑sustaining scheme that assures critical Australian cyber capabilities.

Key challenges that Cyberpath aims to address and opportunities

Australia needs your industry voice

As a landmark Government initiative for Australia and driven by industry, it’s important not to bias, and pre-empt what a professionalisation program for Australia looks like. The solution design will come in due course and likely evolve throughout the program as an iterative and continuously improving solution.

What the national consultation will look like:

  • Presentation of the Draft Professionalisation Framework
  • An industry panel exploring key implications and questions
  • Consultation session with the audience to provide input that will shape the final framework.
