We recently hosted the next event in our Career Toolkit webinar series titled "How to Integrate into the Workplace," providing valuable guidance for new graduates and professionals entering or transitioning within the tech industry. The session was moderated by Alannah Grech, ACS Partner Success Manager - Communities, who brought her extensive experience in technology and community building to facilitate an engaging discussion.
Our two great speakers shared their unique perspectives in the tech industry. Zarin Leenat, Information Security Officer at the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QLD), offered valuable insights into working in the government sector and cyber security, while Kelsey Capaldo, ACS Stakeholder Relations Manager, drew from her recruitment background to provide practical advice on workplace integration.
Throughout the session, the panellists addressed important topics for workplace success, including pre-employment preparation, first-day expectations, and establishing professional relationships, and addressed some burning questions at the end of the session, so thank you to the attendees for their insightful questions on the day.
